Hynes Earns CPA Designation
The accounting firm of Schaffner, Knight, Minnaugh & Company, P.C., is pleased to announce that Chris Hynes, CPA, an accounting and auditing associate, recently became a Certified Public Accountant.
"Earning the CPA designation takes commitment," said Chuck Knight, managing principal, "A CPA license demonstrates to our clients that Chris has the knowledge, skills and abilities to be a trusted business adviser offering an independent viewpoint.
Chris joined Schaffner, Knight, Minnaugh & Company, P.C. in 2006. His concentration is in accounting, auditing and financial reporting. A graduate of Mercyhurst College, he obtained a dual major in 2006 consisting of both a B.A. degree in Accounting and a B.A. degree in Finance. Professionally, he is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
