AICPA Forensic Accounting Conference attended by Jim Schaffner
Jim Schaffner, CPA/ABV, CFF, CVA recently attended the AICPA National Forensic Accounting Conference in Orlando. Schaffner, who has presented the “Forensic Accountant’s Role in Criminal Cases” at the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Institute of Business Appraisers Annual Consultants Conference, found the AICPA conference most valuable.
“A distressed economy, along with increased mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies increase the demand for forensic accounting,” said Schaffner, “Forensic accounting is more complicated than ever, but by staying up to date we enhance the value of our services for our clients by adopting best practices and mastering new skills.”
The hands-on forensic accounting conference was a solid two and half day packed event with the latest information and “must have” strategies from the leaders in the field.
